Counterfeit Pharmaceuticals:
the problem, and how to deal with it

The Issue

The rise in number of counterfeit drugs is an oft-dicussed issue. It threatens not only patient safety, but the very future of research into pharmaceuticals. But there are few hard facts and a lot of speculation.

Professor Taylor, one of the world's leading experts, will discuss the facts, putting the scale of the problem into context. He will also look at what can be done to deal with one of the most dangerous developments in modern medicine.
